Acupuncture Point Injection Therapy

alt="Point Injection Therapy"

Acupuncture Point Injection Therapy involves the injection of vitamins (such as B vitamins) and homeopathic remedies directly into specific acupuncture points to promote healing and stimulate the body’s natural regenerative processes. This therapy is designed to enhance energy, support immune function, and accelerate tissue repair by delivering nutrients directly to areas in need of support.

Point Injection Procedure at Tong Shen TCM Clinic

All substances will be injected into acupuncture points. For things that help with injuries and joint pain like Zeel and Traumeel, injections will be done at acupuncture points surrounding the injured area/joint. For all other substances, injections will be done at the ST 36 acupuncture point, which is on the shin about 4 fingers below the knee. The ST 36 acupuncture point is one of the most studied points with a wide range of health benefits. Combining the power of ST36 with the vitamins/amino acid injections will help to improve their effect. This is believed to lead to better outcomes than simply offloading the shots into the glute/upper arm area as is common practice at other clinics.

Why get B-12 shots?

Vitamin B-12 deficiency can lead to fatigue, brain fog, nervous system dysregulation (ex. Numbness and tingling), and iron deficiency. Vitamin B-12 is important for absorption and breakdown of carbs, fats, and proteins into energy. B-12 shots are a great addition for patients who want to help boost metabolism, regulate energy, improve mental clarity, and support the nervous system. Patients have gotten B-12 shots to improve their energy and immune system, help relieve fatigue and brain fog at work, and to mange their neuropathy. B-12 shots bypass the digestive system, so they are much better absorbed than taking oral supplements. For more info on B-12 shots, click the link below!

Why get MICC shots?

Many patients are seeking to manage their weight. MICC shots can be a useful addition to a weight management plan alongside improved diet and increased exercise. MICC shots contain vitamins and amino acids that help to metabolize fats more successfully. The MICC formulation has recently been combined in compound formulas with GLP-1’s to enhance their effectiveness. For patients seeking to manage their weight without wanting the side effects of GLP-1’s, MICC shots are a great addition to regular acupuncture treatments. For more info, click the link below!

Why get NAD+ shots?

NAD+ is a vital coenzyme that declines with age. The decline of NAD+ in the body has been linked with declining energy, cognitive issues, and age related diseases (ex. Nervous system, cancer). It can be used to reduce inflammation throughout the body which can improve pain, brighten skin, improve mental clarity, and also for helping to ease withdrawal symptoms when trying to stop using drugs and alcohol. We are still gaining experience in the use NAD+ and are looking for more patients who would like to add it to their regular treatments. For more information, click the link below!

Why get Traumeel shots?

Traumeel is a homeopathic substance which can be used as an alternative to steroid injections, anti-inflammatories, and/or opioids for injuries, inflammation, and joint related pain.

Why get Zeel shots?

Zeel is a homeopathic substance which can be used as an alternative to steroid injections, anti-inflammatories, and/or opioids for chronic joint degradation (ex. Osteoarthritis). One of the benefits of Zeel is it helps to reduce an enzyme that degrades a type of collagen found in cartilage. With this mechanism, Zeel can slowdown the cartilage breakdown associated with chronic arthritis. At the same time, Zeel also promotes the formation of the same type of cartilage it is preventing the breakdown of, which further promotes the slowdown of joint degradation. Patients report improvements in stiffness and pain after Zeel administration. For more information, click the link below!
