Acupuncture Point Injection Therapy
Acupuncture Point Injection Therapy involves the injection of vitamins (such as B vitamins) and homeopathic remedies directly into specific acupuncture points to promote healing and stimulate the body’s natural regenerative processes. Point Injection Procedure at Tong Shen TCM Clinic
All substances will be injected into acupuncture points. For things that help with injuries and joint pain like Zeel and Traumeel, injections will be done at acupuncture points surrounding the injured area/joint. For all other substances, injections will be done at the ST 36 acupuncture point, which is on the shin about 4 fingers below the knee. The ST 36 acupuncture point is one of the most studied points with a wide range of health benefits. Combining the power of ST36 with the vitamins/amino acid injections will help to improve their effect. This is believed to lead to better outcomes than simply offloading the shots into the glute/upper arm area as is common practice at other clinics.
